2021-22 COVID-19 Guidelines for Your Athlete

Our journey continues this year with COVID, but we have much more knowledge, understanding, and guidance on COVID from the Georgia DPH, CDC, and from our own experiences.  Our commitment to you is to continue with the maximum amount of face-to-face education, as allowable during the pandemic.  We are hopeful that the disruptions will be minimal. The Bulloch Academy Response Plan is currently under revision because the Georgia DPH is allowing schools to have more choices.  We are adjusting our plan currently and will continue to track and trace COVID cases.

  • Masks are optional but may be required on a bus or in times of high transmission rates.

  • COVID vaccinations are not required, but if you would like to schedule one, please email Nightengale Services Inc. at [email protected] or call 912-681-2612.

  • The Georgia DPH is giving our school more flexibility regarding quarantines which are highly disruptive to education.  More information will be updated soon.
  • Daily temperature checks and symptom screenings are recommended to be done at home before coming to school in the morning.

  • Virtual learning will only be available for COVID quarantined students or extended illness/injury, as approved by an administrator.  It will not be available for vacations.

  • Parents are welcome to walk their students into the classrooms in the morning through the main entrance at the Cornerstone Building. If a parent is unvaccinated he/she is required to mask. Limited parking will be available in the Lower School parking lot.  Please DO NOT park in the Upper School parking spaces designated for students and faculty.  We ask that you drop your child off at the classroom door, and then exit out the end of the building.  For those that are walking their child in, we ask that you exit the building before the 8:00 a.m. tardy bell to allow for the educational day to begin. Arrangements have been made for several faculty and staff to be available to help students to their classrooms in the morning and highly encourage you to drop your child off in the carpool, as we work on growing the independence of each student.
