Tech in the Swamp!
Welcome to Tech in the Swamp! This section is your resource for all things tech at Bulloch Academy-from devices and apps to tech tips and trouble shooting support.
At Bulloch Academy, we believe in fostering educational excellence by equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in the modern world. Our vision is built on four key pillars: Creativity and Innovation, Collaboration and Resource Sharing, Research and Inquiry, and Effective Communication. We know how quickly technology changes. That is why we are always investing in our tech resources to make sure students have the latest tools and platforms. Our technology integration is purposeful and strategically designed to enhance the learning experience.
Classroom Tools & Learning Apps
At BA we believe that technology is a powerful tool that opens up a world of learning. At each grade level, our goal is to use technology in ways that are purposeful, safe, and fun - helping our students become confident and capable digital citizens.
Students have access to a wide range of digital applications that support learning, creativity, and skill-building across all grade levels. Through platforms like Clever, students can easily log in to educational tools such as BrainPOP, Canva for Education, and many more teacher-approved resources — all in one place. These tools are designed to make learning engaging, personalized, and accessible both in the classroom and at home. You can view the full list of student applications and login links here.

Bring Your Own Device | BYOD ( Grades 5-12)
To equip students for success, Bulloch Academy implements a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for Grades 5-12.
- We recommend using a Windows or Chromebook device as they work best with our school’s software and network, support classroom tools and applications, and ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
- Please note that tablets of any kind (ex. iPads, Kindles) are not approved.
- Click HERE for directions to sign into the BA STUDENT Wi-Fi while on campus.
To help you pick the right device for your child, we have provided Bulloch Academy Device Specifications guide with the minimum recommended specifications. Check out our Top List of Devices for recommended devices for different needs and budgets.
Student devices should be set up so that the account they sign into their device uses their school email address instead of a personal one. This helps them access all the necessary educational tools and resources, keeps everything secure and organized, and makes sure everything works smoothly with our classroom management and monitoring systems.
