Hello everyone,

Just saying hello, wishing that everyone is doing well and is exactly where thay wanted to be in their lives. It doesn't seem that it could possibly be 20 years since we graduated this year.  Since I still live in Statesboro, I see many of you during the year and am able to catch up.  For those of you that I don't see, I have one daughter and have been married for the past 12 years.  I've worked for Georgia Southern University for the past couple of years and love it there.  Go Eagles. Keep in touch everyone. Drop me an email if you would like to catch up on our last 20 years...I know it's hard to believe.

Shannon Deal Fusco ('85) emailed on October 30, 2007 to update her name and new email information (see Alumni Listing By Years, 1985). She also sent the following update on November 1.

Hi everyone, although I've been lucky to keep up with many of you, I'd love to hear from anyone with whom I've not been in contact. I am still living in Arcadia, Florida, married, with one teenager, a junior in high school, who seems to have volleyball games every day of the week. I work for the Charlotte County School Board as a Program Staffing Specialist in Exceptional Student Education- a big title for lots of paperwork. All the family is still in Statesboro, except Tracy, so I am up there at least twice a year. Tracy and her two kids are bouncing around the country after her husband who works with computers, so I get to visit a different spot almost every time we get together.
I hope everyone is doing well- keep in touch.

Wow, it has changed a lot.  Things are good down here. Got to watch the Eagles on tv a few time. Tell evryone hi!

Pine cone...what's a pine cone. Coconut she knows!   Get some field turf like our school has...try doing doughnuts on that...of course helps when Dan Marino's kid is the QB and he springs for it...I was in the 'boro because my in laws bought the baseball coach's old house out by cooper wiss. Yeah, has changed a lot but it's still the 'boro...I miss the lifestyle sometimes...especially considering my kids getting older. Public schools here are ok for elementary and middle but hs is terrible...private school is expensive...our school is $16K a year.

Cameron O'Neal Thompson ('03) recently announced her association with Keller Williams Realty Coastal Area Partners in Savannah. Her email address is camerononeal@kw.com. The following is a portion of her email on June 15, 2006.

"The real estate thing is going pretty well. It's been a lot harder than expected trying to work and go to school full time. I decided to transfer to South University down here in Savannah so I wouldn't have to commute anymore. They offer all of their classes on ground campus and through online. I ... decided to finish my last yr. online and go ahead and move down here.
So, i'm now in the process of condo shopping and hoping to move down here ASAP!
If you know of anyone who needs a place to rent or looking for investment properties, we are selling both the houses in Statesboro. They are being offered separately, or better yet, a package deal since they are located right next to each other.

How are things at BA? I saw Mrs. Joiner not too long ago at Dingus. She was eating w/ her husband and children. It was great seeing her, as she was one of my favorite teachers. I correspond w/ Julie Strickland quite frequently through email.

I saw Sid Washington a few weeks ago at a party and I hung out w/ Adam Sapp a fair amount at a few shows and festivals. He's doing really well....still a hippie nomad traveling the country! People say what the will about him, but he is due a good bit of credit b/c it takes guts to just take off for somewhere not knowing a soul, or really your final destination point for that matter. Its really a great way to "see the country" I suppose. I've talked to Will Rushing on myspace a little bit here and there. I see others around and about every once in a while, but that's about it.

Mama is doing really well. She's married and they live in Sylvania. I don't get to see her as much, but we still talk about 15 times a day. She's my best friend and I'm just really glad she finally found someone to treat her like she deserves!

Well, I hope everything is going really well for you! Thanks for your help and I'll talk to you soon. Well, that's my update.... I hope everything is going well at BA."

Billy Butler ('87) emailed on January 22, 2006. He wrote:

"Hello all. This is William (Billy) Butler. All are doing well here. My son Colby (William) Butler will be 13 this year. I'm getting old (ha! ha!) Best Wishes to Everyone."

Billy's new email address is wcso443@yahoo.com.

It's fantastic to hear from ya'll and glad things are going so well. If you would like to update your information with the school, contact Rahn Hutcheson at rhutcheson@bullochacademy.com.

Engraved paving stones are being offered as a way to permanently memorialize their support of the school. The granite stones are one-foot square with either two-inch or one-inch engraving, which is outlined in green. Over 70 stones were ordered and lain down around the flag pole in the school’s courtyard.

For two-inch tall letters, there are three lines of text with a maximum of eight characters and spaces per line. For one-inch tall letters, there are four lines of text with a maximum of 15 characters and spaces per line. The cost for each stone is $115.
